In the Winter of 2013 we launched our very first seasonal whisky, and over the years it has grown to become a very popular tradition. We launch two different seasonal whiskies each year, one in Spring and one in Autumn.
The seasonal editions are limited and are among our most experimental whiskies – always with a new, exciting finish which goes well with the season.
Blomstertid, Vinterrök and Iskristall – what’s the story behind all these names? The creative process varies from season to season but, if you spend a day in our office prior to launch, there is a good chance you will hear different name-suggestions being spontaneously shouted out. That’s the way we like to work. We try hard to involve as many of the team as possible and we send a shortlist of names around until there is only one name left. Indeed, we also keep our ears open to suggestions from our whisky friends, from whom we always receive some very good ideas which can be added to the shortlist.
