We have pursued our dreams and created the Swedish malt whisky. We make it our own way, from local ingredients and without additives. The result has put Sweden on the international whisky map.

IWSC ESP 2012

The International Wine & Spirits Competition (IWSC) is the oldest and most prestigious tasting competition for wine and spirits in the world.
As a result of the many awards Mackmyra’s whisky has received throughout the years, including two gold medals and three silver medals for 2012, Mackmyra distillery was appointed European Spirits Producer of 2012.  This is the first time the award goes to a Nordic spirits producer. We are of course very happy and proud of this recognition of our whisky’s excellent quality.
